Testimonials
Dear Dr. Willen and Staff,
I would like to thank you for all you have done for me. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia between fifteen and twenty years ago. Six years ago my primary care physician referred me to a rheumatologist. He also referred me to a neurologist because I have several herniated disks in my spine. The neurologist prescribed pain medication for my back which I could not tolerate. So for the most part, I have just lived with that pain.
The rheumatologist put me on Prednisone and I took it for five years. It helped some but not a lot. About a year ago he and another rheumatologist from the Baptist Hospital {where I was sent for a second opinion} diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis. The pain got so bad that I had to give up a job that I loved two years ago. My hands were so sore and painful as well as having pain all over my body.
By the second week of treatment at your facility, I could tell a difference in the pain in my hands and then the rest of my body. It is amazing the difference in the pain in my hands where it is most noticeable. The pain and soreness is far less in my whole body. Before I started treatment my fingers would feel like they would burst with pain and now they donÕt hurt at all. I was scheduled to go on Remicade on 5/27/08 which I have prayed that I would not have to do. I did not want to take that strong medicine unless there was no other choice. That was what prompted me to check out your clinic. I thank God I did! I saw the rheumatologist on 5/27/08 and told him that I had been in treatment at your clinic. He was amazed at how much better all of my joints were looking. His words, and I quote, ÒWell, thereÕs no doubt about it, you are doing much betterÓ. He didnÕt need to tell me that because I already knew that I was doing much better. Thank you for all your kindness and wonderful treatment and blessed pain relief after all these years. Since I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as Fibromyalgia, I quite often donÕt know which condition is causing my pain, but your treatment helps all of it.
Many Thanks and God Bless All of You

I have had symptoms of Fibromyalgia since I was 14 years old. They were so sporadic and seemingly unrelated that no one ever put it together. Of course, back then, no one had even heard the word.
My sweet and near perfect childhood was followed by an extremely difficult, challenging and trauma filled adulthood. At 34, as a single mother who handled the stress of 3 jobs, school volunteering, team and homeroom mother, part-time wedding planner and volunteer for several charities, my life was very full and things had finally calmed down.
When I least expected it, I met my best friend and husband to be. We created a wonderful family, had jobs we enjoyed, bought a nice house and got married. I had never been happier!
A month after our honeymoon, I was sick all the time and getting worse every week. Eleven months later at age 37, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and 18 months later after one heck of a fight, I was declared permanently disabled.
A parasite that I contracted on our honeymoon had destroyed my immune system and brought my Fibromyalgia to a head. For the next 10 years, my health was up and down caused by anything from changes in the weather, smells, noise, light, foods, motion, etc. When going into a big store like Wal-mart, left me nearly paralyzed with pain. My claustrophobia was so bad that pilots on a flight from Atlanta to LA considered making an emergency landing to get me off the plane. But for every down time there were always blessed times where I was able to go to golf tournaments with our son, care for my mother-in-law briefly after a car accident, or take my husband for surgery when he was diagnosed with kidney stones, until a little over 2 years ago.
With our lives once again filled with traumatic events, I rapidly spinaled downward again. Only this time for 2 years there was not a single up day! At Thanksgiving, even my excellent primary care physician had no idea what else to do for me. My husband and I agreed we had to do something drastic and drastic we did.
In mid December, we made the 4 hour trip to Greensboro to consult with Dr. Steve Willen of the Fibromyalgia Solutions of the Triad. I am originally from Greensboro and my mother and sister had been trying to get me to see him for over 2 years. I had, as usual done my research and everyone I spoke to and everything I read said that this was the doctor to see.
Having consulted with dozens of doctors during my 12 year journey with Fibromyalgia, I was immediately impressed with Dr. Willen and his staff. I could tell from just the questions he asked that he truly understood Fibromyalgia. The ware supportive atmosphere he and his staff have created made me feel that something good might actually happen here. I was ready and willing for anything.
When I arrived in Greensboro in mid-December, I was bed bound nearly round the clock. The pain in my hands was so bad that I could barely hold my canes and walking more that a few minutes at a time was extremely difficult. I had long ago given up driving, couldn't shop, go out, cook or clean. Just dressing myself for the doctor appointments, was a challenge. I was hardly eating because it was too tiring to chew and my irritable bowel syndrome was nagging. I had to sleep sitting upright or my reflux would hit and I would be ill. When I got to Greensboro, I had thrown up in the middle of the night every night for over a month. I was full of yeast and it had aggravated my sinuses and even my healing had been affected. It took hours to fall asleep and once asleep, I was awake every hour and a half. Again, it took 2-4 hours to fall back to sleep. I was up frequently to make trips to the bathroom also. My pain was constant, I hurt everywhere and on a scale of 1-10 with the worst being a 10, my constant pain was a 9 and my break through were at 11-12. This was with the help of numerous daily and break through pain meds and 2 reflux prescriptions.
In less than 2 months with the regular chiropractic treatments and twice weekly on foot detox from Dr. Willen, taking the excellent supplement program he set up to meet my personal and specific individual needs and following the candida {yeast free} diet he gave me religiously, my entire life has changed, in fact, I tell everyone that Dr. Willen gave me back my life. My husband, son, mom and sister are amazed. I am often moved to tears when I think about how everything has changed. My goal was to with Doc's help, get strong enough to get to Duke and be checked out at the Duke Integrative Medicine Center {DIMC}.
Last week, I did just that! First let me say, I am out of bed almost everyday, and dressed and out of the house at least 3-4 days a week. My healing is back to normal and I have lost 25 pounds. I am eating small but regular meals everyday. Two weeks ago, I spent 2 hours walking around a local car show with my husband and then we went out for dinner. Yesterday, I even drove myself to Dr. Willen's.
Thanks to the supplements, I fall asleep in 30 minutes 4 out of 5 nights a week. I stay asleep for longer periods of time and when I do wake to go to the bathroom, I am usually back to sleep in 15 minutes.
My 3 day stay at Duke was incredibly intense but thanks to Dr. Willen, Sally, Felicia and Tina, I kept up with my healthy vital husband at least 90% of the time. I even took a TaiChi class one evening. And on top of that, every doctor and practitioner, I met with said the same thing. What an amazing job Dr. Willen was doing. They could not believe the progress I had made, how much he knew about Fibro and absolutely raved about his treatments and his supplements. In fact, their nutritionist said they were the best supplements she had ever seen. Of course, I already knew first hand what a great doctor and friend I have in Dr. Willen, but when some of the finest medical professionals in the country agree it's just icing on the cake.
I am a very spiritual person and have always said that like cleanliness, good doctors and next to godliness and I thank God, for ÒDocÓ, Fibromyalgia Solution Center of the triad, Sally, Felicia and Tina. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you!!!!

Three and a half years ago I was diagnosed with mono and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Although I recuperated from the mono, and took several months off of work to get better, I never did. For the past 3 1/2 years, I have experienced flu-like symptoms and burning, pounding pain over most of my body. It has been difficult for me to do anything except work and sleep. IN addition to the pain and inability to function normally, I suffered debilitating fatigue. I had no energy to cook, clean my house, or go shopping. Just hanging out with family and friends became so difficult. My memory was slipping and even driving was becoming a challenge.
I went to several doctors who ran tests and acknowledged that there was some pathology to support my claims, but all they suggested were antidepressants and pain medications. I didn't take any medication because I didn't want to mask the pain ÐI wanted to get at the cause and try to fix it. And, I really just wanted them to help me feel better again.
This year, in addition to the regular pain and fatigue, I began having serious bouts of pain 3-4 times a month and I literally could not move or even get out of bed until the bout subsided. Sometimes this type of pain would last 3 hours and sometimes it would last 2 days. Although I love my job as an educator, I found it more and more difficult to keep up with my work, so I considered going on disability. I knew I would have to make that decision soon. One day, while working out of town, AND on one of those days I couldn't get out of bed, I turned on the television and saw Dr. Willen's commercial for the Fibromyalgia Treatment CenterÉI listened to the people talk about how good they felt after visiting him. I staggered to the phone and called and made an appointment right away.
By the time I arrived at Dr. Wille's office nearly 3 weeks later, I promised myself that this would be my last resortÉI was so tired of feeling so bad all these years. Well, after going to Dr. Willen for nearly a month, I feel so much better. I have had nearly no pain in 3 weeks and I feel so much more energeticÉ.I haven't felt this good in years! I am so fortunate to have found him and his staff; they are well on their way to making me feel much better!

Dear Dr. Willen and staff,
It is with great pleasure and extreme appreciation that I write this letter. In 6 weeks time frame, you have played a major part in my life and for that I am oh so grateful!
It has been horrible for years aching and not knowing why, being tired beyond belief from doing nothing, unable to finish routine daily task going to bed but not resting.
When I first came in your office I was a little skeptical I must admit, I wondered how in the world is this treatment gong to work, he didn't even run any blood test. How can you diagnose base on symptom alone, to my surprise you hit the nail on the head. Emotionally it was overwhelming, but at the same time comforting that you could understand my dilemma and actually provide a routine that would allow me to cope and function with my daily activities. On the first visit alone you mentioned that first off we need to get you sleeping, it was if you were reading my mind from that point on I knew we would get along, now 5HTP is my best friend with grape juice of course!
Within two weeks I could tell a difference. I have never been one to stick to remembering to take medication. But my supplements have been the exception to the rule they're like second nature, I will not, better yet I can not do without them. I have a renewed energy and desire to accomplish goals without feeling it's impossible. This treatment has contributed to my happiness and my confidence.
You and your staff are one of a kind, your personalities although different are so pleasant! Because of the way a person with Fibro can feel it's nice that you are always to up beat , positive and accommodating!
I realize this is not a cure, but it is definitely a coping mechanism, until God's kingdom which we pray for in the Lord's prayer, rules over the entire earth as brought out in Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:3-4 only then will NO residents of his righteous kingdom will say I am sick, and neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.
I'm still not quite a morning person, but I'm realizing it's not the absolute worse part of the day!
With much sincere appreciation I thank you, yours truly

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in August of 1998, just 2 months after the birth of my daughter. With the diagnosis came years of medication, doctor visits, and being misunderstood. Living with a chronic pain condition that most in the medical profession do not seem to understand is frustrating at best. At my worst, which was in 1998, I was deemed disabled. With sheer determination and an excellent physical therapist who understood, I was able to overcome the initial hurdle and return to work. Since that time, I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I wanted to give up and just be "disabled".
In June of 2005, I was on vacation at Bush Gardens and rode a roller coaster with my children. That was a mistake, but also the start of a new path. The roller coaster hurt my lower back and when conventional medicine did not help, I returned to Dr. Willen again. I was at the point where I just wanted to give up, but he talked to me abut a Fibromyalgia program and along with my husband, I decided to give it a try.
I am not a medicine taker so when I opened the bottles of vitamins I thought I could never be compliant with this, but Dr. Willen was so positive I thought I would try. The (chiropractic) adjustments immediately made me feel better but I still had the fatigue. Unless, you have experienced fatigue, it is something that is hard to explain. Fatigue, headaches, low back pain, and irritable bowel were a few of my frequent complaints. The pain you learn to live with, the fatigue you try to minimize, the headaches you deal with and the irritable bowel you pray holds off until you are at home.
After 8 weeks of being on the Fibro program can honestly report that the irritable bowel was resolved, my frequency of headaches has gone from about 3 times a week to 3 times a month or less, my pain level has decreased from a 7 or 8 to a 3 or 4 and the fatigueÉWOW!! What a difference! I sleep 8 hours a night, a restful sleep, and wake up with energy. It has been at least 6 yeas since I was able to get a full nights rest and feel energized in the morning.
I know my limitations and I still do not push myself, but I am able to come home after working 8-10 hours, cook dinner, help with homework, get the kids to practice, clean house, go to bed and wake up with energy. My life prior consisted of either a home life OR a work life, not both. As now I am on my next to last visit with Dr. Willen's Fibro program can honestly say I am at least 80% to 90% better than when I first came to him 3 months ago.
With Fibro, you try anything and everything! You need to do this for yourself and for your family. It is the first program I have seen in 7 years that actually works and has no side effects. I take no medications other than an occasional Motrin and feel better than I have in the past 7 years! It is worth it to al least give it a try.

Let me share with you my experience with Willen Health. I moved to Greensboro over a year ago and I was not in good shape physically or emotionally. Physically, my main problem is Fibromyalgia. With the Fibromyalgia I was having pain ranging from mild discomfort to sharp pains. I also have trouble keeping proper alignment in my spine. The Fibromyalgia was keeping me from doing everyday things and this was taking a toll emotionally. My health was effecting every area of my life. On my first visit to Dr. Willen's office I was very aware of the caring and concerned attitude of the entire staff. Dr. Willem immediately put me at ease with his understanding and compassion. I could tell he wanted me to feel not just better but good and able to enjoy life.
Dr. Willen was very thorough in his examination and explanation to me about what he would like to do to help me become healthy and able to function in my everyday life.
Each week I see Dr. Willen for an adjustment and therapies. I also detox each week and believe all of these together have caused the change in my health. I have become active again and am enjoying life. I have been seeing Dr. Willen for the past year and my health is now good and my outlook is great. He is always thinking of new ways to improve my care and he constantly encourages me to take care of myself.
With sincerity and thanks I say to Dr Willen, "thank you for your caring about your patients and giving the 1st rate care" and to your staff, "thank you for being so kind and making me feel at home each and every time I walk into the office."
I can honestly say that I don't know what my life would be like today had I not gone to Dr. Willen a year ago.
With Heartfelt Thanks,
E. Day
What is fibromyalgia? It hurts! It is debilitating! It does not care who it effects. It is a syndrome that affects the entire body and has 18 focal points of which it dwells. It is an illness that is quoted from the journal of the American Medical Association in 1987, "a disease which may have occupied five minutes of time by students in medical school."
I have experienced pain from this dreaded disease for a number of years, not really knowing how many years to go back. I awaken of a morning stiff and unable to get myself to function. During the day there was constant pain in muscles and joints, worse in some. I was unable to sleep at night, tossing and turning until time to get up. I would be so wiped out the next day, I could not do my work satisfactorily. I was self-employed so that helped. I would put my head down on my desk for a while and try to sleep.
I eventually went to a rheumatoid specialist who immediately diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. The medicine administered did not help. I eventually stopped going to this doctor. I have tried to treat the disease with over the counter pain relievers.
I stood the pain as long as I could, and eventually went to another doctor. He gave me medicine that allowed me to sleep at night and would feel better the next day. With this, several years passed and I was taking medicine for another disease and my hair began to fall out. I stopped the first medication right away, which was February of 2006, I learned that it could cause hair loss. Of course my aches and pans returned full force. I happened to pass by my television one day and heard the work "Fibromyalgia". I turned quickly but the commercial had gone off with words, call 292-4900 for and appointment. I waited around for a few days hoping to catch the ad again. I did. I wrote down the number and called to make an appointment to see Dr. Willen.
This has been the best phone number I ever called. I immediately was put on the program and felt results with the second visit. I was pt on special therapeutic diet supplements and had treatments in the office by Dr. Willen. As I progressed with treatment, the pain was ceasing.
At the writing of this, I can touch my skin, I can sleep better at night, the knots and lumps in the muscles have left.
This is not all in your head when you hurt all over and have unfamiliar aches, pains, rigid muscles and cannot sleep. I recommend the treatments that Dr. Willen and his staff offer. You won't regret it!

Dear Dr. Willen and Staff:
After being told by my primary physician that I probably had Fibromyalgia, since she could find no other reason for the pain I was experiencing, I asked what could be done to help. She said there is no cure, but she could give me an anti-depression pill to help. However, it would cause me to gain weight. Well, that didn't sound like a good treatment to me!
I started searching the internet and was amazed at the many symptoms that I indeed had for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; however, the only clinics I located were out of state. At the time, I was sleeping at least 10 to 12 hours a night and taking a nap during the day. But I was always tired and something always hurt. While snuggled in my favorite chair to wile away the day I saw Dr. Willen's TV ad about Fibromyalgia Solutions. Needless to say I called immediately and the following day had literature and a CD in the mail. I eagerly read all the material and listened to the CD over and over again. It brought tears to my eyes and rejoicing to my heart to hear there was a solution to help.
I have faithfully followed the program and most days I have no pain; if any, it is for a short while. I sleep 7 to 8 hours a night. Most days I am up by 7:00 am and eager to start my day. I am currently finishing a project I started over a year and a half ago and simply had no energy or desire to complete it.
I have lived TIRED for years, so it is exciting to me to feel like doing something besides the necessary things.
Thank you Dr. Steve Willen and all your staff for the kindness, encouragement and care you have given me.
Sincerely,
Jean P.

I have suffered from the symptoms of fatigue and constipation for years. I sought the help of endocrinologists and gasterenterologists. Their solutions did not work for me. I used over the counter medication for constipation. In 2003, my symptoms grew worse. I felt more fatigued and I could no longer sleep. I also started having flulike symptoms on a regular basis. In December 2003, I spent more time at home than I did at work. I went back to the same doctors and explained my symptoms. They ran a blood test and said that I was a little anemic and told me to take an iron supplement. However one doctor thought my problem was hormonal and put me on natural hormone replacement therapy. I started taking an iron supplement and Tylenol PM to help me sleep. I also went to the health food store and bought a multivitamin, calcium, and B12. I think the supplements helped a little but I still felt very tired, lethargic, and had a difficult time concentrating. For 2004, all I did was to go to work, come home, and go to bed. In July 2005, something happened. I grew more tired that I have ever been in my life. Tylenol PM was not helping me to sleep anymore. I started to have daily headaches. It was a daily struggle to get up each day and go to work. Even the effort to go from the bed to the bathroom was tremendous. I went online to research extreme fatigue and found the conditions of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Adrenal Fatigue. I went back to my endocrinologist and mentioned these two possibilities. They were dismissed and it was suggested that I go onto a website about authentic happiness. I must admit that at this point I was not happy with the medical profession. I am not crazy. Finally, in December 2005, I could not longer function in the work place and I convinced my doctor to write me out of work.
While recuperating at home, I saw a TV commercial about the Fibromyalgia Solutions Center of the Triad. I called for further information, and the next day I received some literature and a cassette tape. I read the info and listened to the tape. I was very excited to learn that there was a place nearby that actually dealt with symptoms like mine.
I made an appointment immediately. Dr. Willen and his staff treated me with kindness and respect. Dr Willen outlined a course of treatment. I was placed on supplements and a detox program. The first week on the supplements I was able to sleep through the night. Constipation was no longer a problem. I felt that I was able to think more clearly. And I can honestly say that it has been years since I felt this good.

Ever since I was 26 years old I have had trouble going up stairs, sleeping at night and sitting for long periods of time. My body seemed to hurt all over. I went to several different doctors most of them male doctors and each one of them told me it was all in my head and I needed to exercise more, or it was arthritis and give me pain pills to take care of it. But I still couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any better.
When I would go to bed at night, I would toss and turn due to the side I was sleeping on was hurting so badly it would wake me up so I would have to turn over. When I would walk, I couldn't even walk a city block without having to sit down and wait for the pain to go away. I couldn't hardly pick up my grandchildren due to the pain in my arms. My neck and back stayed stiff all the time. When I would do house work my back hurt so severely, my husband had to start doing the housework. Thank God for good men.
One Saturday I walked to my mailbox and found a letter from my regular physician telling me about Dr. Willen. How he has helped others like me using only natural herbs (no drugs). So, I thought what the heck, I have tried everything else, why not see this doctor too. I have never been one to take herbs, although I have heard about them from other people. Dr. Willen promised me that he would make me feel better using his form of treatment.
After 6 visits to his office and taking my herbs like he advised, I could walk without pain. My grandchildren seemed to like me better because I could play with them again. Climbing stairs does not seem like a chore anymore. I feel like going places and doing things again. I feel as though I have my life back. It feels GREAT!
Dr. Willen is a miracle doctor in my eyes. He is a very caring doctor that wants to see people feel their best. I think he is super. I want to thank him for all he has done for me. I will continue his treatment and recommend that you do the same. He will make you feel like a million.
Sincerely,
Kathryn L.
Twenty-four years of doctors, pills, pain and self doubt. It's only been 3 months since I started the Fibromyalgia program at Dr. Willen's office. I can tell a big difference in myself. I smile more and I feel 80% better! Pain hourly has become occasional pain during the day. Depression and self-doubt have faded and the sunlight has come in. Weight loss has been a bit surprise to me. I've lost 30 pounds and feel good. I have said it to Dr. Willen several times, "I wish I had found you years ago!" Thank you for all you've done for me. I feel like I am a different person today.

Dr. Willen and staff,
I learned about the Fibromyalgia Solutions Center on TV. I was diagnosed with fibro in April 2007. After calling and receiving the information packet from the center, I filled out all the paperwork and realized that I had the symptoms of fibro for at least 10 years or more. I have been going to the center for less than 3 weeks and even though I have a ways to go, I feel 100% better. My pain level was 8, 9, or 10 and sometimes off the scale, but now just after less than 3 weeks my pain level is a 1 or 2. What a difference!
I had come to the end of my rope not knowing how to deal with the pain and exhaustion, that's when my doctor diagnosed the problem. My doctor put me on Cymbalta to help with the pain even though this medication is used for depression, I am not depressed. I had to stop taking it for it caused extreme headaches. My doctor referred me to a Rheumatologist and after studying the blood work, she wanted to put me on Prednisone. I immediately said no because this medication has too many severe side effects. After listening to Dr. Willen, I started the nutritional supplements and I have found that the 5HTP is now my best friend forever. I have slept better these last 3 weeks than I have in a long time. My sleep pattern would be to sleep for 3 hours and wake up for 2 or 3 hours than go back to sleep and wake up and never feel rested, sleep deprived, walking in jell-o and a fog and exhausted.
When you hurt all over and there seems to be no relief, life was not fair. However, since going to the center and working with Dr Willen and his great staff, my outlook on life is totally different. Even my husband has noticed a big change in me. I still have rough days but not as bad as before going to the center. I recommend the center and everyone there who is needing help dealing with Fibromyalgia. It is not in your head and you are not going crazy, this is real and the center is there to help you. One of the most important phone calls I have made in my life is the day I called and made my first appointment.
Dr. Willen and his staff have been a true blessing for me and I thank God for them daily. Thanks Dr. Willen.

Hi,
My name is Michele K. and in July 1989, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was in such pain over the next 17 years and I was so tired of hurting that I was asking God to take me to his kingdom.
I was reading a Natural Triad magazine and I spotted the Fibromyalgia Solutions Center of the Triad. I called and made an appointment. It was the best appointment I ever made, because after only two months of treatment, I am sleeping and waking up refreshed! I can breathe and my ribs no longer hurt, my shoulders and neck are not in the terrible pain where I cold hardly move. I could not sit more than half an hour in a car. Recently, my husband and I went to see my mom in Roanoke, Virginia, which is a two-hour trip. This was the first time my left hip did not hurt.
Dr. Willen's treatments have made me into a new person. He took the time to explain why I hurt all over, never got the restful sleep and lack the energy. He took the time to explain what his program would do for me. I would recommend anyone in pain to make an appointment and see what Dr. Willen can do for you.
I'm probably more fortunate than some of you in that I don't have the pain associated with Fibromyalgia but I do have the extreme fatigue. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis almost 2 years ago and I started taking anti-inflammatories for it. Then about a year ago I thought I had the flu. When I kept have the "flu" I told my Rheumatologist about it and after several visits in which I complained that the fatigue was worse than my joint pain, she gave me the "tender point exam" and voilaÑShe said I had Fibromyalgia. With that she gave me several handoutsÑone of them with supplements and vitamins that she recommended for her Fibro patients. I also read up on anything I could get my hands on concerning Fibromyalgia. I took the supplements faithfully and still wasn't feeling any better 4 months later. So, I decided that I had to do something else since just getting ready for work in the mornings was exhausting me. So, I went on line and found Dr. Willen's website. I called his office and they sent me a tape describing Fibromyalgia and the treatments that have been successful. I made my first appointment and am I glad I did! Within a month the regimen that he put me on has made a difference in my energy level. I know when I tell people that I am "detoxing" they think I've gone batty but between that, the supplements and vitamins, the massage bed and his adjustments I feel so much better and it has only been a month!!! I'm looking forward to feeling even better after the three month program is finished. I would recommend Dr. Willen to anyone who has Fibromyalgia. They've made a big difference in my life and I thank them profusely for it!

You do not know me, nor have any of you met me, but I know what you are going through. I know the pain you are having. In saying that let me introduce myself. My name is Nancy. I work in a textile plant in North Carolina. I am 53 years young but about six or seven years ago I felt as if I were 90. Now my life was good even though I had a lot of stress. Then it happenedÉI woke one morning to pain! I was hurting from the top of my head to the soles of my feet! I had no energy, was to cold and did not want to move. If I did get up I would go from the bed to the sofa. I would cover up with a blanket and my loving husband would start a space heater blowing hot air on my body.
At that point that was the only relief I would get. I went to my family doctor for help. He put me on Viox and Celebrex. Neither of which helped. I continued with my life the best I could. Now don't get me wrong the pain was not always that bad, but the days it was, it would wipe me out!!
It is getting bad when you grade a good day by the degree of pain you are in. I was tired all the time, slept all the time, in pain most of the time, could not concentrate and could not remember what to do on my job all the time. I even lost what interest I had in sex.
I saw the information on Dr. Willen in an issue of Natural Triad Magazine at Curves. I saw that he treated Fibromyalgia and was talking at the Women's Health Fail in Greensboro. I went to hear what he had to say abut it. I could not go to his office right away, because I had to get my money together. If was a few weeks later when I made the appointment.
My husband and I went to talk with Dr. Willen. He backed everything he said at the Health Fair. It was refreshing and encouraging to find someone that did that. He diagnosed me as having Fibromyalgia. Then instead of saying I am sorry or letting me go on my way. He gave me a solution to the problem.
I liked the solution because it was not drugs other doctors were giving me. They were natural with beneficial side affects. I started the treatment and have been pain free for about 90% of the time. I'll take that as a success and an improvement! I still have some days but they are not everyday and the pain is not as severe any more. It has been over a month with very little pain and most of the time pain free.
I am really glad I finally found someone that understands what I am going through and WANTS TO HELP!
Thank You
Nancy H.

Dear Dr. Willen,
I would like to thank you for helping me at a very painful period in my life. When I first came to see you March 14, 2006, I was in a lot of pain. Within two weeks, I was feeling a lot better! It has been eleven weeks now and I feel like a new person.
The CFS/FIBRO FORMULA, DIGESTIVE ENZYMES, ADRENAL CORTX, 5HTP AND GTA-Forte II along with the adjustments and the DETOX has helped me so much. I am so glad I came to see you. I would recommend your Fibromyalgia Solutions Center to anyone and everyone. I thank you and your staff for all that you have done for me.
Sincerely,
Susie T.
Please let me express to Dr. Willen and his staff my thanks for the miracle that has been performed for me. For ten years, I have suffered from pain, fatigue, and hopelessness. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1995, I have seen orthopedic doctors, psychiatrists, therapists, MD's, Rheumatologists and neurologists only to continue with all the same symptoms. Constantly in drug stupor from the over twelve medications I took daily. I was ready to give up! I couldn't push forward any longer. I was ready to give up!
After seeing Dr. Willen and going through the Fibromyalgia program my pain level went from a severe 8-10 down to a 3 or less, more manageable pain! I have a change now to actually enjoy life!!
My sincerest "Thank you to Dr Willen and staff for caring about Fibromyalgia patients, where other doctors ignore the disease and the symptoms."
Sincerest Thanks
W. Livengood
WHERE IS THE LIGHT?
It was a dark day in mid January of 2007 when my way of being changed dramatically. It hit me like a ton of bricks, what was it? where did it come from? One day I am my usual vibriate and energetic self willing to take on the daily task confronted to me and the next day merely getting out of bed was an overwhelming chore. I was a 47 year old female at the time, now I am 48 years old, with no energy or strength that had me feeling like an elder incapacitated individual and I could not explain why. The flu? A virus? The onset of the change? What was it? I did not know it at the time but this experience would effect and change my lifestyle in a negative and adverse way, it was the beginning of a devastating roller coaster ride which I thought would never end.
I sort the help of my family doctor with my newly found symptoms. I described these symptoms as shear exhaustion, shaking and aching all over, unable to sleep, sick to my stomach, severe headaches, sore throat, back ache and constipation. A viral infection was the first diagnoses. Two weeks later I was no better, in fact feeling worst, so back to the physician I go.
February brought on a battery of blood test that left me black and blue and feeling like a pin cushion. Early results were Fibromyalgia and IBS, which go hand in hand with the symptoms I described above. However, back in the year 2000 I was already diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and IBS and the only medication that worked for me then was Zelnorm for the IBS but as luck would have it the FDA pulled Zelnorm off the market. Back then my doctor had prescribed all sorts of medications, which did not work for me, so I learned to live with it having only 4 good days out of the week. This time as days went on I became worst with the current medications prescribed to me, so back to the physician I go.
March brought on more blood test, a Cat Scan and Ultrasound. Why a Cat Scan? Why an Ultrasound? What are they looking for? My mind was working overtime and my body was shutting down. Well, the next diagnosis was Hypoglycemia. Three weeks of more medication, a change in diet and lots of rest but still my body was not feeling any better and now I am feeling that I will have to live with this the rest of my life.
April brought even more blood test, this time I requested a test for Mono, and low and behold it came back positive. Well, at last I knew what had been making me feel so sick and I thought in time as each day past I would just get better and better. Unfortunately, this was not the case I was not improving at all. Back to the physician I go, more blood test, another Cat Scan no better result.
By mid May I was at my wits end, on top of the Fibromyalgia, IBS and Mono I developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. As the hours and days pasted I thought my life at 47 years old was pretty much over as I had known it, I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. I consider myself a perfectionist in all sense of the word. Before being stricken with this illness I worked a full time job driving 62 miles one way to work, then another 62 miles back home. Then I had a steady workout routine at the gym for about 1_ hours, at least 4 day during the week, hence this illness had gotten the best of me.
Then came a suggestion for my dear, sweet, caring, loving husband. He was speaking with a co-worker about my health and she mentioned that she had a friend that was very ill and she went to see Dr. Willen, whom is a licensed chiropractor and also practiced alternative medicine. At this point I was willing to see anyone that I thought would help me. My husband made the call to Dr, Willen's office and they able to see me that very day. After the consultation with Dr. Willen I decided to try his program and I am so grateful that I did. By the third day of the program my IBS was under control and I was sleeping. By the forth week I was taking walks around the block. I had improved at least 50%. And now three months later, I am working a full time job again and going back to the gym at least four nights a week. I still have some days that I am more tire than others but I am 90% better than ever. I will always be grateful to that co-worker and to my loving husband for always being by my side and for making that appointment. I am grateful and thankful to Dr Willen and his staff, they were a God send and my Angels here on earth. A special thank you to them for their concern and patience and the program. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Willen as my life is getting back to normal and I am living proof of his success. There it is, I could now see it now, the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Dr. Steven Willen.
Dear Cindy,
Good Morning!! And I do mean GOOD.
When I spoke with you in March, my fibro pain levels were so intense that I thought my life was over as I had known it. All I could do was sit and hurt. I could not lift without consequenses, and having two little grandsons, that was quite an impact on my life. I had pain in my hands, arms, neck, shoulders, legs, collar bone, just about anywhere you can name. I could not sew nor make jewelry (my passion), and there was certainly no way that I could find a job. Who would hire a person who hurt constantly? My fingers felt as if they were being squeezed in a vice.
AND THEN, my husband and I attended the meeting of the Fibro Care Group in March. After hearing Dr. Willen's presentation, we felt that there was truly some kind of REAL help out there. And there is!
Let me please tell you that I am now almost pain-free. My fibro pain is minimal, thanks to Dr. Willen and his program. I am in my third week of treatment. My husband and I are both absolutely amazed at my lack of pain.
Last week we had several days of rain, and I normally would be in horrific pain. I had almost none.
Cindy, please pass this on to others. This is NOT a solicitation. I just want to help others to know that this treatment is effective. Dr. Willen and his staff are so kind. And the treatment is affordable. I would encourage everyone with Fibromyalgia to seek his help.
Thank you so much for having the Fibro Group, and for introducing Dr. Willen to us.
Sincerely,
Deb B
